COVID-19 continues to spread around the world, which to some extent affects the psychological state and method of treatment of cancer patients.
First of all, on the psychological level: the pandemic must be understood rationally. Negative emotions need to be mitigated and adjusted. At the same time, psychological help should be recommended, including support and encouragement from doctors and family members.
Second, in terms of treatment: first of all, doctors should be aware of the risk when applying the treatment. Methods and strategies must be adapted accordingly. In addition, physicians must ensure that screening, out-of-hospital care, remote diagnosis and treatment, as well as inter-hospital collaboration, are reinforced. At the same time, patients should be stratified and optimized, and reasonable treatment plans should be selected, with an emphasis on patient self-monitoring for adverse reactions and early intervention.

Our immune defenses are a wonderful war machine at the service of our whole Being: physical, psychic, emotional and spiritual, whatever our beliefs. The maintenance of these defenses often leaves much to be desired. These insufficiencies are the bed of many diseases. Poor eating and breathing habits, stress, insufficient physical activity, bad sleep, depression… disrupt our cellular and humoral immunity. Recent directions in cancer therapy consisting in stimulating our immune cells with specific monoclonal antibodies are heavy and very expensive. Preventing all these diseases depends first of all on our lifestyles and on the considerations that we bring to our immune system which is our first vaccine, without which no other vaccine can protect us permanently.

Emotions affect our health. Scientific studies show how our DNA and our immunity are disturbed depending on the emotions, even going so far as to trigger or worsen the evolution of cancer. Emotions represent the dialogue between the body and the brain. Essential oils, also called "the soul of plants", carry great vital energy and also help us to welcome our emotions. These oils are a real gift from nature to treat the emotional.

Chronic pain is a widespread and complex medical problem that affects almost all medical specialties. The impact of pain at the societal level is indisputable. And yet, chronic pain is not at the heart of scientific research concerns. Pain is often the most feared symptom for the patient. Chronic pain has an impact on the emotional state of patients. What are the implications for cancer and its progression? And how to deal with it? Treatment of pain is a human right. What strategy to propose on the use of opioids?
